Terms of service
Last updated 19 September 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and of the WealthMonk mobile application, both provided by QuickMonk Technologies Private Limited (“QuickMonk”, “we”). By using either, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.
1. WealthMonk is a tool, not advice
WealthMonk reads your transactions and derives figures — budgets, net worth, tax headroom, card interest, a retirement corpus, an insurance gap. These are calculations from the data available to the app, produced to help you understand your finances. They are not investment, tax, insurance or legal advice, and QuickMonk is not a registered investment adviser, tax practitioner or insurance intermediary. Decisions you make based on the app are yours. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.
2. Accuracy
The app extracts information from SMS alerts sent by your bank and from what you enter. Banks change their message formats, messages are sometimes missed, and a parse can be wrong. WealthMonk flags low-confidence captures for review and anchors balances to the bank’s own stated figure where one is available, but your bank’s records are authoritative, not the app’s. Check anything that matters before acting on it.
3. Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping your device and that number secure, and for enabling app lock if you want it. You must be 18 or older and use the app only for your own finances or those you are authorised to manage. You may delete your account at any time from the app; deletion is permanent.
4. Permissions
On Android, WealthMonk asks for SMS permission so it can read bank alerts on your device. Granting it is optional; the app works with manual entry without it. You can revoke it from your phone’s settings at any time. Notification, camera and photo permissions are likewise optional and used only for the feature that requests them.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly permits it.
- Probe, scan or attempt to breach the security of the app or its backend, or access another user’s data.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to track finances you have no right to access.
- Resell, sublicense or offer the app as part of a commercial service without our written agreement.
If you find a security issue, please tell us at hello@quickmonk.in before disclosing it publicly. We will respond promptly and will not pursue good-faith researchers.
6. Intellectual property
The app, this website, their design, code, parsers, dictionaries and content are owned by QuickMonk and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Your data remains yours; we claim no ownership of it.
7. Availability and liability
The app and website are provided “as is”. We work to keep them available and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free output. To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickMonk is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for financial decisions made in reliance on the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
8. Client engagements
Product engineering work described on this site is governed by a separate written agreement between QuickMonk and the client. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to provide services until such an agreement is signed.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
